So I take the dog for a walk to the park and find some black and white feathers, feathers   seem to be always in my life the last 12 plus months for what ever reason. But I also find an injured bird! I am a magnet for two things … Dysfunctional men and injured wildlife!!!! Can’t tell you how over the years I have picked up different animals and birds etc I think it is because I am always on the roads travelling and out doors predominantly. So I sigh…I don’t have much luck with birds, and  take off my really daggy hat and scoop it up and walk home. After a few hours my father asks what am i going to do with that? You should have left it there! Grrr, no way!,  it does not need to be left stranded and injured like that. I have stopped for many a bird on the roads, they look dead but they are injured and to lay there not been able to move and to see a prime mover, car etc about to run you over…No way!!!  He said I won’t be nursing that tomorrow! Have no fear I say , I have bad luck and it will die in comfort over night…  I am not asking any thing if you dad! With that good nite!

Couldn’t believe it, it’s still fighting for its life as we speak, dad leaves me a note , if the bird is still alive when u go wake me up and let me know!

Get to work and we are missing 2 drivers so I have to go with a different bunch of blokes, so I walk up to them and one old grader driver who I usually acknowledge most mornings but never get an answer back due to deafness ( rife in this game) spews out of his mouth ,Oh we have to put up with you!!!  Now this is the sort of behaviour I have delt with time and time again! For no reason , no reason but an attack on me, so I shoot back to him , oh well I can piss off then! I honestly dont know where this hatred comes from but I get so much directed at me on jobs!  So with that I am working with him and sitting in my machine frothing at the mouth, I want to get the survey staff and wrap it around his head!! By break time the prick wants to talk to me NICELY!!! He must have thought about his words or some one has said some  thing to him , who knows. But this is the on going male dominated crap we have to deal with! I will never understand human behaviour!
