These three are ill-matched, ill-suited, unwelcome partners: Putin in Russia, Assad in Syria, and Erdogan in Turkey.

It’s  sometimes suggested that in a good  marriage 1+1=3. In this case, however, 1+1+1= Disaster.

These three are no more, no less than dictators. What they are doing to their own countries and their own people represents no more than self-indulgence with no respect for others.

But their people (and we in the West) have allowed this.  So many are already paying the price. How many more will have to suffer before the West stops holding the lens to the sightless eye?
